The Train the Trainers meeting was kicked off with a session on Design Thinking, a human-centered innovation methodology that encourages problem-solving by focusing on the needs and experiences of users.

One of the key elements of the LISS24 Project is the creation of Innovation Competitions and university Incubators that can help students and startups develop their ideas. Several workshops provided deeper insights into specific aspects of university-driven innovation.

The workshop on Project/Competition-Based Learning & Incubators was a highlight, emphasizing how universities can set up supportive environments that nurture young innovators and turn their projects into thriving businesses. The Enhance Challenge and Enhance Incubator models were discussed in detail, showcasing how universities can provide the infrastructure and mentorship needed to help early-stage startups succeed.

The final set of workshops centered on developing a comprehensive Entrepreneurship and Innovation Strategy for universities was Stakeholder Mapping for Strategic Planning. One of the key tools introduced was Stakeholder Mapping, which helps universities identify and engage key partners in the innovation ecosystem. By understanding the roles of various stakeholders, universities can create more targeted strategies for fostering partnerships and collaborations with businesses, government, and other academic institutions.
