The National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) participated in the European Online Business Negotiations Championship (EOBN) within the framework of the ERASMUS+ LISS24 project, which was held online for the first time in this format. Students from universities of various countries took part in the competition, including representatives from the National Polytechnic University of Armenia and the Armenian National Agrarian University.

As part of the competition, students attended realistic sales and negotiation masterclasses led by experienced business professionals serving as jury members. They also had the opportunity to compete in an international environment, enhance their professional skills, and strengthen their self-confidence.

Around 60 students participated in the championship, representing France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Romania, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain, the USA, and other countries. Representing NUACA, students Irena Simonyan and Tigran Stepanyan achieved outstanding results.

The championship consisted of two categories:

Elevator Pitch

Business Negotiations (B2B Sales)

The Elevator Pitch served as a preparatory round before the main Business Negotiations (B2B Sales) competition. In this category, Tigran Stepanyan became the winner of his group but did not advance to the final stage.

In the Business Negotiations (B2B Sales) category, Irena Simonyan became the winner of the European Online Business Negotiations Championship (EOBN). She won her group stage, advanced through the semi-finals, and in the final competed against a student from HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, ultimately becoming the overall champion.

NUACA supported the students by organizing their participation and carrying out systematic preparatory work. Active guidance and support were provided by Varazdat Hovhannisyan, Head of the Center for Educational Development and Innovations; Tatevik Edoyan, Head of the EIC Chair; and Lusine Harutyunyan, Head of the Continuing and Additional Education Department, contributing to the participants’ effective and confident performance.

The European Online Business Negotiations Championship was organized by the European Sales Competition Association and HAN University of Applied Sciences, aiming to develop students’ practical skills in sales, negotiations, and self-presentation within an international environment.

NUACA consistently encourages student participation in international competitions, creating broad opportunities for development, practical experience, and new achievements.
