On January 29–30, 2026, the first European Online Business Negotiation Competition (EOBNC) – a unique and valuable international student event – was held at HAN University of Applied Sciences. The competition brought together the representatives of more than 20 universities from across Europe, as well as of a university from the United States.

Thanks to the ongoing European Erasmus+ “LISS24” (Learn - Innovate - Sell – Succeed) project, that enabled the participation of Armenian and Georgian partner universities in this prestigious event, the pioneering team of National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA) took active part in this international sales and negotiation competition. Namely, the University was represented by its students Sona Aghabekyan and Arina Manukyan, as the competitors, and by the Director of NPUA Labor Market Study and Career Center, the LISS24 Team member Gor Martirosyan, included in the Competition Judge Group.

Participation in EOBN Competition marked an important milestone for the LISS24 project progress. It enabled the participants to strengthen B2B sales and negotiations knowledge and skills further, enter international networks, to compete on the European stage and win. During the competition, NPUA student Arina Manukyan was recognized as the Best of the Room in her subgroup, demonstrating outstanding negotiation skills.

More than that, it is a special noteworthy that another Armenian representative of the LISS24 partner university, Irena Simonyan from National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia became the overall winner of the competition.

National Polytechnic University of Armenia congratulates the students on their successful participation and wishes them continued achievements and professional success.

NPUA students’ floor:

The European Online Business Negotiation Competition provided me with the opportunity to gain practical knowledge in the field of sales, develop my skills, and become familiar with the nuances of business negotiations. The competition created a realistic business environment for me. In addition, I made new friends from different countries and universities, and we had engaging and insightful discussions together. I am grateful for this opportunity provided within the framework of LISS24 project (Arina Manukyan).

This competition was a highly valuable and inspiring experience for me. It allowed me to challenge myself in a new environment, express my ideas with greater confidence, listen attentively, and, most importantly, adapt quickly to new situations. After the competition, I was left with extremely positive emotions, new ideas, and strong motivation to continue my education and personal development. I would like to thank the National Polytechnic University of Armenia for providing me with this opportunity within the framework of the LISS24 project (Sona Aghabekyan).
